Rakhi Sawant to outperform Vidya Balan in the bengali version of Dirty Picture....

Bollywood News: Bollywood’s most famous item girl Rakhi Sawant is all set to star in the Bengali remake of The Dirty Picture and she says she will outperform National Award winning actress Vidya Balan.

The 33-year-old item girl will play a sex siren in the untitled film to be directed by Bengali actress-turned-politician Shatabdi Roy and she says her film will set more tongues wagging than the original. The film is said to be produced by Tollywood actor and member of parliament Tapas Pal

“The film is based on the life of an item girl and it is only befitting that I take on the role as I am the original item girl of Bollywood. I admire Vidya a lot. I think she is a great actress and she did a great job in the film. But now it is my turn and I will do a better ooh lala than her. After this film I am hoping that everyone will chant only my name,” Rakhi said.

Besides numerous item songs and TV shows, Bollywood’s item girl Rakhi Sawant has also done small parts in films like Main Hoon Na, Mumbai Xpress, Dil Bole Hadippa and she says she is excited about her first film as a full fledged actress.

“I have only done item songs and short roles in films. This will be the first time that I will be doing a full fledged film with dialogues, song and dance and that too in Bengali. I have already done an item song in Shatabdi’s film Om Shanti. I am learning Bengali because I want to dub for myself. I have asked the director to give me the full Bengali script written in Hindi,” says Rakhi Sawant.

She may be known for her bold image but the bollywood item girl says she is both thrilled and nervous about shooting intimate scenes in the film as she has never done it before.

“I will be doing intimate scenes for the first time. I am nervous about it because I have never done it before. I take inspiration by watching films of Emraan Hashmi and Mallika Sherawat and I think after the film I will get the title of Miss serial kisser of Bollywood,” Rakhi Sawant added.

Though the hunt for the male actors for the film is still on, Rakhi has her own list on her mind.

“I want Victor Banerjee to play the role essayed by Nasseruddin Shah, Jeet as Tusshar and Prosenjit as Emraan Hashmi,” Rakhi Sawant said.

Rakhi further commented that she isnt threatened to find the other popular actresses like Vidya Balan, Katrina Kaif & Chitrangada Singh doing item songs in various films. “Nowadays heroines are doing everything from acting to item songs. They are jumping into the territory of item girls. They now know that a romantic song with the hero will not take them anywhere but a four minute item song can get them maximum exposure. I like Kareena and Katrina but only as actors not as item girls. But I am not threatened at all. I have my own place. I am the original item girl and will always be so,” Rakhi Sawant said.

Before her big venture, Rakhi will be seen in an item song lattoo in director Anil Balani’s film Rakhtabeej, where she will be seen making a top dance on her belly.

“I had a very difficult time shooting for the song. The top (lattoo) was rotating on my belly and I was injured with the iron pin. I even had to take injection. I also had to wear a 56 kgs lehenga for the song and was not able to move an inch during the song. But in the end, I had fun as I enjoy dancing a lot. I am happy with the way the song has turned out,” she said.

When asked why she still chooses to be part of small films, she said, “I can’t afford to wait for big films. So I take up small films as they provide maximum exposure. I have worked in many big budget films but I don’t mind being part of B-grade films either,” she said.

After the debacle of her last bollywood film ‘London Dreams’, the Southern beauty Asin is dying to strike back in Bollwood yet again. And the actress is ready to compromise on her rules that she laid while joining sexy bollywood club.

Apparently, Asin who said no to skin show and kissing onscreen had to compromise on her rules forSalman Khan. According to a unit hand the actress has shot an extremely steamy scene with co star Salman for her forthcoming film ‘Ready’ which is a remake of a Telugu film.

“The script demanded a steamy scene between Salman Khanand Asin. Knowing Asin, director Anees Bazmi spoke to her about it and explained the importance of the scene. Fortunately it wasn’t difficult for Anees as Asin being a true professional gave her consent. And the scene has come out well,” said a unit hand.

It seems Asin Thottumkal has finally realized that Bollywood doesn’t work on terms and conditions.

If the West is obsessed with the venue of Brangelina’s wedding, here in Bollywood, the folks are more interested in the marriage date of hot-shot couple Saif Ali Khanand Kareena Kapoor.

Grapevine has it that wedding bells will ring for Saifeena in October. The couple were rumoured to be planning an early 2012 wedding in the run-up to the release of their film ‘Agent Vinod’. However, Bebo, who has been busy filming ‘Heroine’, is reported to be wrapping her assignments before the big day, which is likely to be October 16.

Kareena Kapoor is reported to be working currently with Saif in Turkey, where the actor is shooting for ‘Race 2’, and if sources are to be believed, the official announcement of their wedding might come soon.

Seems like Kareena Kapoor is ultimately fed up of answering questions pertaining to her marriage. She recently said, “From 2009 until now, I`ve been asked about the wedding date a hundred times. More than Saif and me, it`s the others who are obsessing over this. I`m not taking any shaadi break. Once I wrap up Heroine on July 25, I get straight into Sanjay Leela Bhansali`s Ram Leela with Ranveer Singh. I`m also negotiating another big project, which will start by the end of the year.”

Mumbai Cops rescued aspiring bollywood actress from flesh trade

Bollywood Gossip: The Social Service Branch (SSB) of Mumbai police has busted a high-profile prostitution racket in Andheri and rescued an aspiring actress and two models from the spot. The officials have also arrested a woman and her son who were allegedly operating the racket.

After a tip-off, the SSB and a special team from Oshiwara police station sent a bogus customer to Pataliputra housing society, Andheri (West), early on Thursday morning. The society, promoted by top IAS and IPS officers, was recently in the middle of a controversy for grave construction irregularities.

On receiving the information, the police team laid a trap and picked up the four women and the man from a flat in the society.
During the verification process, police learnt that one of the women is an actor. She told cops that she has acted in television serials Tarak Mehta Ka Ultah Chashma and CID.

She got involved in the racket as she was in need of money, police said. The second woman is a model and the third is their friend. Police have also arrested 52-year-old Neeta Parikh 52 and her son Bhavin (30), who were allegedly running this racket. They have been booked under the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act (PITA).

“We have sent the victims to the Mahila Sudhar Griha in Mankhurd. One of the victims has acted in two popular serials,” said Sanjay More, assistant inspector, Oshiwara police station.

Bollywood Industry supports Shahrukh Khan after getting banned from Wankhede Stadium

Bollywood Gossip: His actions were wise and whatever he did was justified, say Shahrukh Khan‘s friends and colleagues from the Bollywood Industry after the superstar was banned from the Wankhede Stadium for five years following a scuffle with the security guards. Shah Rukh Khan, the co-owner of Indian Premier League (IPL) team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), had allegedly misbehaved with security personnel and MCA officials on Wednesday night.

While talking to reporters, Shahrukh Khan said that he lost his cool when he saw MCA officials manhandling his daughter. Bollywood Industry took Twitter to share
